i am working on getting some illustrations done to try and generate some income to continue doing some large canvas pieces in my abstract work. the small piece is 7x7 acid free hemp paper, the large is 11x14 acid free bristol board. both are ink and acrylics.

this is a pen name i have been using for about 10 years now. it started out as a very crude rudimentary drawing style and i slowly morphed it into something more detailed. i still do lots of work with the small simple monsters also.

I have recently been working on doing more environmental quick digital sketches or speed painting. I am using a photo for reference when painting but not doing all the detail. less than two hours on the ocean pieces and less than an hour on the garden piece. I will be hanging my show in the Bookend Coffee Co in Everett WA in the next week, this is one of the pieces that are supporting the street art work of the show. I have not had a show in a while so it will be interesting to see how it goes.

New Geometric Abstract Canvas

Continuation of the exploration process with this piece, keeping colors limited, not dabbing from art to create new colors, just using the natural overlaying of colors to create the depth and dimension.

I am happy with the way this piece came out, the colors and integration of some of the new design elements and line work with some slight implication of dimension type shapes. This would be a good sketch for a canvas.
