New digital speed painting from photograph I shot while in school in South Dakota.
This piece was done in under an hour in photoshop cs5.

I have recently been working on doing more environmental quick digital sketches or speed painting. I am using a photo for reference when painting but not doing all the detail. less than two hours on the ocean pieces and less than an hour on the garden piece. All work done in photoshop cs5 with a small 6x4 intuos wacom tablet. copyright scott cattanach 2014
